Jackson sure makes us laugh. He is so incessantly happy, and loves to laugh and smile and talk. No matter what, he seems to think that everything is just fine and dandy, even when we are poking fun at him... Jackson is such a delight!
Jackson is learning to move and can get around pretty well. He gets up on all fours, and rocks back an forth. He almost has the coordination to crawl. Yet we still find him getting into things.
Over the weekend, we went to Herriman for the Barzee Fall Festival. There was a chili cook off, face painting and even a live band. Jackson sure loved it, and it was great to see the Barzee family.
We went to visit family over conference weekend. He loved talking to and hanging out with Uncle Richard and Auntie Rachel. Jackson doesn't get to see his Grandma and Grandpa Schaefermeyer very often, and he sure loved to talk to everyone.
Today I put Jackson in the laundry basket so he could nap, and that he could still be in the kitchen while I prepared lunch. He loves to be wrapped and snuggled so cozy!
My brother Wesley entered the Piura, Peru MTC recently, and is doing well. He writes to tell us about the crazy drivers and the people down in Peru. Plus, he had a teaching experience in the airport on the way! He was able to bear his testimony about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and present a challenge to read the Book of Mormon.
Uncle Richard, Auntie Rachel, Cousin Kaden, Jackson, and I went to the Zoo on Saturday, June 21st. Jackson slept the entire time, but the rest of us sure enjoyed it!!!
We didn't stay all night, because it was still kind of cold, but we headed up for dinner at the ward campout on June 6th. Jackson did so good!!! We wrapped him up in a hoodie, a hat, and two blankets. Needless to say, he stayed pretty warm.
For my first Mother's Day, Jackson got me a bunch of flowers, and a cute card. He also helped Dad prepare a fantastical breakfast. David later became master of the grill and made us some great chicken sandwiches. They all treated me well on my first Mother's day.
